Pork meat has 39.16% higher export volume in June

Pork exports also continue to perform good and, according to the Ministry of Economy, in June there was an increase of 39.16% in volume shipped in Brazil, in comparison with the same month of 2019. In total 86,9 thousand tons were shipped in the last month. Last year, during this period, 56,500 tons were shipped abroad.
In total, exports in June 2020 totalized US$ 187,790.55, 38.61% more than in June 2019, US$ 129,726.84.
“Brazil has been showing great growth in exports of animal protein and, with pork, is standing out as a reliable supplier.
