Meat shipments to China are expected to increase
China was able to control the new Coronavirus and, according to Rabobank estimates, Brazilian meat shipments to this market might increase in the coming weeks.
While the Asian country was pursuing the control of the disease, the pace of operations in ports and in product distribution has slowed down. However, information that the number of new cases in China is decreasing indicates that control of the virus is close and, according to Rabobank, shipments are expected to resume more strongly in the coming weeks.
The bank's estimates of a growth of 10.6% in the volume of Brazilian beef exports for 2020 are maintained.
